Summary
After her husband is unfaithful and her cookie-cutter perfect world is turned on its head, Petunia Evans Dursley finds herself in her old hometown, full of regrets and feeling that her life has been without purpose. Before she can quietly take her own life, she is given an impossible offer by a long-dead figure from the magical world: return to the past, and rewrite her own history. Seeing it as a chance to make up for her biggest regret, Petunia accepts and finds herself in the middle of a Wizarding war she knew little about, protecting the younger sister she tried to forget by seeking help from the one person in the magical world she knows how to find.

Summary
The Line of Durin fell, and Bilba Baggins felt as if she fell along with them.
Unable to find peace upon returning to the Shire, she takes to the road and spends her life alone, fighting to protect the weak, training in futility to fight a battle long since won, and to save those long since buried under stone.
Her road is a lonely one, but one she feels she deserves for her failures to save the ones she loved.
The One, she loved.
She once thought she would find peace in death, and in the hope of seeing those she loved in the afterlife, but it seems even that is to be denied her, for as her eyes close in death, they open again - to find herself back in Bag End.
And the date on the calendar is the day a wizard once appeared, and asked her to join in on an adventure.

Group projects are the worst: everyone knows that. Harry had been focusing on keeping his friendship with Ron and Hermione intact during their History of Magic project, but in actual fact, that didn’t turn out to be the problem. No—because something always has to go wrong in Harry’s life, they have instead encountered a mishap with the Time-Turner Hermione was apparently using to take even more classes than usual, so instead of squabbling in a nice little Welsh bookshop, they are now squabbling in a remote forest, surrounded by medieval knights who keep brandishing swords and shouting in a foreign language. But that somehow isn’t the weirdest part: because standing amongst the knights, unarmed and wearing ragged clothing, is (for some godforsaken reason) Hogwarts’ new history teacher.

Bilba has been a slave her entire life. All she knows of the outside world is what she sees from time to time outside the gates of Moria and the stories her mother used to tell her. Stories of a place called the Shire where her mother once lived and a placed called Erebor where, as far as she knows, her father still lives. Stories of dragons a thousand times larger, and more intelligent, than the beasts the orcs rode and of a strange concept called freedom where one was allowed to live as they wished with no one to tell them what they could, or could not do.
The stories meant little to Bilba. The only future she had was to live, and die, as a slave as countless number had before her.
And then the orcs dragged an injured female firedrake through the gates, her rider screaming obscenities behind her as he fought to reach her side...and everything changed.
