Summary
Fear Resistance is Yoojin's mental lifeline. Being surrounded by S class hunters every day as an F class, he ought to have a great mental condition or else he won’t even be able to stand, let alone face all those crazy people. Yoojin has experiences being around some of them while his Fear Resistance was dropped to C class thanks to Song Taewon; that event was not good for his mental health. Yerim had also subdue him once with the great presence of an L class. As an F class, without Fear Resistance, he would just be a mere shrimp in the vast sea.
That’s why Yoojin doesn’t want to turn it off ever again when he’s outside. It’s only safe to turn off in the safety of his house, and Yoohyun.
But shit, Hyunjae always got something on him.

She opened her eyes to find herself floating down a river. Well, perhaps 'floating down' wouldn't be the right description. She was currently drowning. She had never learned how to swim and suddenly finding herself drowning in a river was the ideal situation for anyone to die. She should try to think about more positive things in such a situation. [Her husband had once said she should try to be more positive.] But could you really blame her for such thoughts when she could barely keep herself afloat? No. You couldn't.
'That kid has nice hair.'
She patted the black haired kid's head who looked very annoyed by the action, likely because he thought they were the same age. How could he know that she was very older than she looked?
She didn't think that the black haired kid was the one crazy troublemaker who she had binge read a novel for.

“Of course I’m angry!” Kaveh spins around on heel and forced himself to stare up at his roommate, barely able to keep the tremble out of his lip. “We had plans and you just…tossed them aside. Without so much as asking me!”
Alhaitham’s brows pinch together as he stares Kaveh down, as if trying to decipher a puzzle. “You could have just come with us-”
“That’s not the point!” He’s far too drunk for this. It’s getting harder and harder to fight back the sting in his eyes and the tight squeeze in his chest. “I just…I need to go to bed. We can talk about this later.”

Kaveh's carried a torch for Alhaitham pretty much since the first day they met. It's obvious to everyone but the Grand Sage himself, but Kaveh isn't ready to put himself out there and risk being shut down.
Turns out keeping his feelings to himself ends up hurting a lot more than he expected.
In which Kaveh gaslights himself (a lot), Alhaitham's bad at feelings, Cyno's jokes are terrible, and Tighnari's just trying his best.

Any mark in Levi's skin was generally put there with a fist.
So saying he was shocked when one appeared was an understatement, but it couldn't be that easy, could it?
Life wasn't kind to Levi, which must have been why Levi's soulmark was written in a dead language that no one had spoken in three thousand years.
