These fics stood out to me, more so than others, and just left a large impression on me. Very likely that i will reread.#Note to self: start a list in the bookmarks of how many times i have reread the fic, with date.

In which a modern-girl falls into the Marvel Universe and is shifted into a cat. Bumps into Tony Stark and decided to follow him home because he's a magnet for trouble and she had a bleeding heart and a low-key-hero-worship-hard-on for Iron Man.
Some mythological/magical bullshit happens later, but Marvel was already full of that before she got there, totally not her fault.

This. This is an incredible fic. Around half way through it, I realised that I would have to put it into my favourite (adoration and feelings) collection. It was amazing. That good.
Right now, I have not reread it, but this was an exceptional quality fic, with an amazing dynamic (well, more of characterisation of Deidara in the first 20 chapters, and how he thinks of Tobi), with multiple different plot arcs and scenes. And the ending is amazing. Bit of angst with the violence reveal (but holy cow is the reveal AMAZING, I love Deidara's unhinged nature).
Bit unique how it takes place in the fifth, rather than sixth book.CHAPTER BY CHAPTER COMMENTARY:
Why is this high key one of the best HP crossovers I've read? Deidara's many unique quirks make him interesting.
AND TOBI COMES IN AROUND CHAPTER 16! (And it is alluded to in many chapters prior about his appearence in this universe). He is unconcious for many more chapters though.
And the fact that this fic is actually complete is incredible. So, so, rare.
Chapter 6 has a boggart. beautiful.Chapter 16: HOLY MOLY TOBI HAS ARRIVED. He's lowkey unconcious and kidnapped by Death Eaters, but Deidara breaks him out. Bro literally DROPS EVERYTHING for this man. And then says "he's not my friend!" after spending the night creating a clay mask, which he asks Molly Weasley to charm orange, because he knows Tobi doesn't like to have his face exposed.
Chapter 21: AAAAAAH THEY FINALLY TALK AND TOBI IS FINALLY AWAKE AAAAA THE HEART WARMING WHOLESOMENESS IS BURNING ME--

There was a BIG fight between deidara and obito, about 3 chapters. At the end of it, they are not buddy buddy, but things are… tolerated. Obito gives so much sad wet dog vibes, chasing after Deidara lol.usually, i don’t think I USUALLY like reading about fights. But this one, with sad wet dog Obito, is so … not funny, but I want to read it.
Obito and Deidara screaming in English and maybe Japanese, and the rest of the house being very awkward.
I love how certain interactions between OBITO and Deidara reflect their dynamic as Tobi and Dedara. It’s so small, but I am screaming, crying, and screeching.
“Eugh,” Deidara sticks out his tongue in disgust and takes a step back, nearly bumping into Obito who is hovering directly behind him, “Watch it, yeah!”
“Sorry, senpai,” Obito says seemingly in reflex and immediately backs away when Deidara glares at him.chapter 40: brief reveal of Deidara's history as a killer, but things are really fast pace, since they are trying to rescue Sirius.
CHAPTER 41 IS WHERE SHIT. GOES. DOWN. The confrontation in the department of magic. it is SO GOOD. SO SO GOOD. Deidara finally gets to kill people, the kids are traumtised, the adults are horrified, and oh look voldemort and dumbledor are crashing the party in the very final line of the chapter--

Jason doesn’t know a lot about Gotham’s newest players. He’s been a little distracted sorting out his territory, and they haven’t made a move on Crime Alley or the Bowery yet. So it wasn’t at the top of his list.
But he knows the basics. He knows that there’s some sort of syndicate forming in Uptown, rallying behind the founder. Iron Man, he’d heard the leader was called, but not why. He’d heard more about Iron Man’s second hand, the shadow, the one his street rats call White Wolf with shaking voices.
White Wolf got sent out for cleanup.

This is actually really good, and I was really surprised. Crossover characters don't actually appear until chapter 1.5
Jason is trying his VERY BEST to hold things together, but he's one person, without his mask and without guns, with a whole bunch of kids he's trying to protect, in unfamiliar territory, and bull shiting so hard to keep his cover

Jason scowls. He thinks through his options, the amount of effort each lie would take. But it still comes back to Kat. Better the lie he’s already telling, when it’s not just his life on the line. “Hood,” He says finally. “I work for the Red Hood.”
Hawkeye whistles. “Didn’t really see that coming. Isn’t that the guy who did all those beheadings?”

“So,” Hawkeye muses, “Hughes wanted a deal with Red Hood. Weird. Red Hood’s got that whole thing about not dealing to kids. I kinda figure he wouldn’t want to get all buddy-buddy with a trafficker.”
“He wouldn’t,” Jason says sharply. “That lady was out of her mind.”
“Why you?” Sam says. Jason glances at him. “If you’re just a guy from Red Hood’s gang, why take you to force a deal? Are you that influential in his decisions?”
You got no idea, Jason thinks, dry. Out loud, he says, “I do logistics for Hood. I guess I work closer with him than some of the crew.” -

Where megatron was literally built to harness the power of a black hole.
I like the writing style. Project hail Mary vibes, with the amount of of scientific talk and math. Ratchet also casually dumps a lot of technical terms and processes because of his experience as a doctor. Love it.
This fic is actually, really, suprisingly good. Very good quality. Did not expect this. I want to save it but don't know where. Kind of BAMF???? More of a REACTION I suppose.
HUGE AMOUNT of headcannons (and maybe character building).The first third or so isn’t as interesting (and deceptions and automates don’t quite start working together until thenH, but the overarching arching plot and overall elements were done very well. You can see the character development and the way character dynamics slowly change.
Very, very try interesting how they portray the discrimination deceptions faced, their caused, and how Ratchet ends up joining the deception cause. Lots of emotional feels.
I also liked how Ratchet was the centre of this fic. His medical knowledge and role in history made him a very good character to be a narrator/POV. And when it comes to trauma and medical horror, he has got narration covered.
And liked how he almost seems to fall into a “defacto leader” with the auto bots, being usually very strict and upright.
Kind of want to put this into the “adoration” collection, but IDK if the first half fits. It has slow development, which is a testament to the author’s skill.Other than terminology, sci fi robot horrorand skilful development, I don’t know what other writing styles stand out. At least, it things I can currently make use of.
