Summary
She knows she is on a mission. She knows that she has work to do, and that she should do it. But she cannot help but watch the scene for a moment longer. Other onlookers are watching with knowing, amused smiles as the man and goose glare at each other. Everyone knows the goose; most of the crowd are probably just happy that this goose is focused on someone other than them.
Then the goose pauses, wings raised, and turns. It looks up, and Natasha suddenly finds herself meeting perfectly black, perfectly focused, perfectly beady eyes.
A bad feeling shoots through her gut like a lead bullet.
