Summary
“Alright, so then we track down the ability user and shut it off from the source,” agreed Chuuya. “What do we do with these two for now?”
“Well, we definitely shouldn’t let them do what they were doing, unless we want the whole cruise to watch Atsushi knot Akutagawa in a hallway.”
“Dazai-san!” cried Atsushi in protest, and Akutagawa shrunk in on herself even more, wondering if someone could die from embarrassment.

Summary
“I don’t see why you’re blaming me for this, Chuuya! This is sad for me too, you know!” Dropping her grin, Dazai put on a look of affected seriousness, face deadly straight. “Now I’m never going to get to see what kind of swimsuit Chuuya was going to wear.”
Chuuya kicked Dazai under the table. “Bitch!”
“Ow! I’m serious, Chuuya, it’s going to keep me up at night.”
“Yeah, I bet it will,” grumbled Chuuya, finishing her latest drink. She should be pacing herself more, she knew, but there was something about rum that made Dazai more tolerable. Or maybe it just made her horny. The result was largely the same.
No one said Chuuya made good decisions. If she made good decisions, she definitely wouldn't have secretly gotten mated to Dazai Osamu at age seventeen, an impulsive decision that resulted in her being abandoned by her alpha just a year later.
Now Dazai is back in Chuuya's life, insisting that they absolutely had to go undercover on a luxury cruise ship. And really, what's one more bad decision when it comes to Dazai? At least this time Chuuya can blame the rum.

Four years later, Dazai turns back up, awaiting execution in the Port Mafia dungeon - and seeing the alpha again after four years sends Chuuya into an unexpected heat.
Dazai did always have a knack for ruining Chuuya's life.

Summary
This wasn’t real, Dazai reminded herself. No matter how real it felt, it was just a dream, some trick of an ability that slipped past No Longer Human somehow. In real life, Chuuya would never be so soft with her. Chuuya would never cuddle up to her, or talk so easily and kindly about Dazai’s insecurities. She wouldn't sleep in the same bed as her or offer to help with Dazai's bandages, not now, not since Dazai had abandoned her. Chuuya wouldn't do any of this in real life, because Dazai didn't deserve any of this. She had abandoned Chuuya, abandoned her omega.
She had always known there was no coming back from that.
Nearly one month after the disastrous cruise ship mission, both Akutagawa and Chuuya are trying not to think about what happened, or rather, who they slept with, while at sea. But when Akutagawa tracks the Cult of Sappho thief Patricia Highsmith to the InterContinental Yokohama Grand hotel, they all get embroiled in the drama of an out of control ability user named Renée Vivien, threatening the lives of everyone in the hotel.
Unfortunately, this leaves it up to Dazai to save the day.
