It's been weeks since Vox's embarrassing love confession, and Alastor hasn't seen hide nor hair of the other overlord. Not that he cares—at least, not beyond being angry at the sheer gall of the man. Besides, Alastor has bigger things to think about than Vox's pitiful, voyeuristic obsession with him.
At least he does until Adam rips a hole open in his torso and leaves him for dead. Then, suddenly, Vox's pitiful, voyeuristic obsession (as well as his access to on-call trauma surgeons) becomes extremely relevant.
