Summary
"I shall stay up a bit longer. I tend to sleep a bit terribly anyway." Edwin shifts, drumming again, a soft tick tick tick that soothes the restlessness from earlier, clearing Charles' mind a bit. "I usually put on a documentary to fall asleep to, but I do not want to disturb you so-"
"Oh," Charles' mind kicks into overdrive, grasping at the opportunity. "Can I watch with? I'm not that tired."

Summary
Hey! Is… everything alright?” His heart skips a beat when she doesn’t respond immediately. Deep breath. Smile. “Did I do something wrong?” If he’d done something wrong then surely Ms. Wang would have been the first to know.
She tilts her head at him, the rhinestones in her glasses catching in the afternoon light, and he follows her gaze to the shirt he’s wearing.
A battered navy T-shirt. The yellow graphics emblazoning the front now rendered indiscernible with time and wear. It was one of the few things he managed to grab when Edwin rescued him from La Sorcière.
“You wear that shirt a lot,” she observes, and Monty turns back towards her. He can’t discern any clear emotion in her expression or voice. Just dry observation.
Or: Monty goes clothes shopping and makes a few friends along the way
