Wilbur climbed out of the broken window of the ship, and took off running through the trees.
Wilbur skidded to a stop only after exiting the weird orange forest, staring out in horror at the land beyond.
There was a small town, or something of the sort, he knew. He’d seen it.
What if they were just as bad as the others had been? What if they were worse…?
Desperate to stay alive, Wilbur turned in the direction he’d seen the town, and began to walk.

Captain’s Log: Day 92 on the Planet Earth
Repairs on the ship are going well, although I wouldn’t be sure if you can call them repairs. We’re repurposing the remnants of the ship into a living space for all of us. Wilbur has started clearing out an area within the forest to build, quote, “An actual house” for us to live in.
We have yet to encounter any other humans, though Wilbur has ventured out to the human settlement to the west to gather us some supplies. He claims he did not steal anything. None of us believe him.

There, covered in dirt and berry stains, was a toddler, who could be any more than two or three. Their clothes were ripped and their little chubby arms and legs were covered in scratches and scrapes. Phil’s instincts crooned at the sight of the child but he knew its parents were probably looking for it.
He slowly approached the child, sheathing his sword to hold his hands out peacefully, “Hey, mate, I’m Phil," The child seemed to scowl at him. Phil didn’t even think toddlers were capable of such violent expressions. “Can you tell me your name?”
The child huffed and turned away from him. Okay, so the kid has attitude. They pushed theirself up on its little legs and started walking away. “Hey wait-! No come back, you’re too little to be out here on your own!”

Techno walked through the trees, mumbling to himself as he went. He knew he’d shot something down, but he didn’t know what it was or where it landed.
The man sighed and whacked a branch out of his way, only to have it come back and whip him in the face. He hissed in pain, glancing back down at the branch with a wince. Something had broken it almost completely off the tree, and there was a deep rut in the ground going a ways ahead, like something had crashed.
Techno’s hope was refilled. Maybe he would find whatever he shot down.
He came around a large rock and his heart almost stopped.
Down in front of the rock he hid behind was a fucking elytrian. And it was very much alive, albeit pissed off and struggling in a chain net.

“What are you talking about?!” Tommy exclaimed, hiding his fear with anger. “I don’t believe your bullshit for one second!” He finally managed to pull out of the inmate’s grasp and scrambled back, glaring at him. “You’ve had so many chances to hurt me, and you have! You didn’t miss me, you freak! If you wanted to get me alone you had plenty of time for that in exile!”
Dream tilted his head to the side, staring into Tommy’s eyes, unblinking. The boy resisted the urge to shudder. “Tommy, I would have if I could. But that stupid ghost gave you that compass, that enchanted compass. I couldn’t use any of my abilities anywhere near it,” He explained, standing up and walking over to Tommy.
The blond backed up against the obsidian wall, his eyes darting around in fear. “What do you want with me?!” He screamed, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Dream smiled widely and crouched down, grabbing Tommy by the wrists. “To go home,”

The voices were restless, mumbling loudly in his ears. He knew something was coming, and right when he was starting to settle down too. Oh well, it would be their funeral. He grabbed his axe and exited his home, heading over to cut wood while he waited for whatever trouble was coming his way.
His best guess was another bounty hunter, coming to try and claim the large price hung over his head. They’d fail, of course, like all did. He wasn’t called The Blade for nothing. But it was getting old, killing people all the time. He mostly did it to appease the voices these days, no longer taking the pleasure in it that he used to.
Techno sighed, wincing slightly as an arrow flew by and nicked him on the cheek. He turned to face his new enemy, axe gripped tightly in hand. He was met with the sight of a tall, lanky stranger hidden within the depths of their bloodstained cloak. Sheaths for knives, a belt full of potions and other items, a well used scabbard holding an obsidian blade within. Worst of all, was a familiar porcelain mask, inky black smile boring into his eyes.
