Lawrence sighed, seemingly more annoyed with himself than with Adam. “The kinds of sexual relationships I prefer are rather…intense,” he told him lowly. “Are you at all familiar with the BDSM lifestyle?”
Oh. Oh. Finally, the puzzle pieces clicked into place. Lawrence’s strange intensity during their first meeting, the way his interest seemed more piqued by Adam’s obedience than his flattery or flirting, the bizarre way he talked about their prospective arrangement…all of it made sense now.
Adam nodded, his throat dry. “Yeah. Uh, a little. Handcuffs, spanking– stuff like that, right?”
“Those are a bit on the tamer side, but…yes.”
He couldn’t help but scoff at that, raising his cup to his lips. “Okay, I know it literally gets you off, but you don’t have to be so condescending. I’m not your– your sub, or whatever.”
Lawrence blinked impassively. “Would you like to be?” he asked frankly, and Adam choked on his coffee.

Mark had never planned for Strahm to survive if he didn't get into the glass coffin. It'd never even crossed his mind that he could, so when the hydraulic systems fail... well, he doesn't really know what the fuck to do about that.
Now he has a very injured, very pissed off FBI agent on his hands that he may or may not have framed for murder. But maybe Mark can still try to make Strahm understand just what it is he'd been trying to tell him in the first place.
(or, mark and peter go on a road trip to get peter's arm taken care of, and learn things about each other along the way.)

With everyone being particularly tight-lipped about it, Lawrence is shocked when he learns that the man he was trapped with is in fact an Omega. While initially intent on putting Adam and everything that happened behind him, a combination of loneliness and the bond formed between them during their captivity has Lawrence seeking Adam out.
