A dark forest surrounded him. He couldn't move— he was cursed. Someone— no, something approached him. Something awful. He recognized the familiar spider limbs, but the maniacal sound of a woman laughing was unknown.
He tried to move to no avail— that thing was coming for him, and there was nothing he could do. He went to scream, but he was unable to. As the limbs approached, his heartbeat quickened its pace— now beating impossibly and painfully fast. He would have doubled over if he were able to.
Gaping jaws full of rows of sharpened femurs, ulnas, and humerus’ acting as teeth; a severed head lodged in the back as if it were a uvula; black tendrils enveloping his vision. They all came for him to devour him whole. The last sight was of the severed head— Azarov.
“You did this to me,” The head spoke. “You are no better than I, Philip Ojomo. You are just as much a monster as me.” A wicked grin. “Embrace it already.”

You’re a military field medic turned science experiment. After being stationed at an evacuation sight, quarantine is breached and the infection spread through the Vanna Hotel. Now you and four other survivors need to make your way to a safe zone for evac. A certain white suited man seemed to make it his mission to confuse you with his distrust, but care about you more than anyone ever has before in your life. Will the group survive the grueling journey, or will you lose someone along the way? Will your heart survive the flaming rollercoaster of lust and love? *This work is currently on hiatus. Unfortunately, a mixture of being sick, writer's block, and a new job has taken it's toll. I am still working on this, but it will definitely be a moment before I'm able to get an update out. Sorry everyone :(
