Bradley and Max are spending their first holiday together with Bradley's family at Uppercrust Manor for their big Halloween party. While the Labroodle is nervous about being surrounded by so many elites the Saluki assures his boyfriend that he'll be fine. And indeed - Mr. and Mrs. Uppercrust, Grandfather Uppercrust and Bradley's younger sister all adore Max. Even the family butler is charmed by him. Of course, it wouldn't be a Halloween night if everything went perfectly. Suddenly the lights go out, which is soon followed by a blood-curdling scream. And when the lights come back on there's something new and something missing. One guest has a new knife wound in their arm, and another guest's priceless antique necklace is missing! The party is locked down and no one is allowed to leave on the orders of Detective Bonkers D. Bobcat who puts himself in charge of solving the case. But he's a little bit...well, bonkers. So his fiancé Fawn Deer asks Bradley and Max to help him out. Can the couple crack the case before the witching hour?

Getting acquainted with your neighbors is part of any good moving in process, and while Bonkers has worked with Roderick for years now, the two never really had much of a chance to sit down and chat. Now that they're sharing an apartment building, it's the perfect chance to swap stories. Of course, when you're swapping stories about the nature of the toon industry and their infamous casting couch, things can't help but wander to talk of the sex in general. Open as he is, Bonkers is more than happy to become extra acquainted with his neighbor when he has the chance.
This was written as a gift for a friend who's a big fan of the bobcat. I saw Roderick during the "Springtime for Iguana" episode and knew that he had to be my go to to pair up with Bonkers, so here we are. Hope you enjoy this goofy, little quicky.
