Kristen shoves her slightly, and Fig pats her on the back, shoving her lightly towards the church in retribution. “But seriously. If you need to get the hell out of there…”
“German Shepherd mode. Got it!” Kristen says, and with a pair of finger guns, slips into the church.
Fig’s vision clears, and she stumbles as she catches the drops of blood pooling in the palm of her hand.

Or: Something insidious has taken root in Elmville, lurking in the town as it warps people's perceptions of reality - and those they loved. It would be the perfect sort of case for the Bad Kids to solve... except for the fact that the Bad Kids, as a concept, seem to have never existed.

Summary
Truth: Fabian nodded. He did not remind his father that he had almost drowned at seven. He did not remind his father that he loved the ice, except not anymore, except maybe never again. He did not remind him that although the water was his father’s home, he did not think that the deed had been inherited. Still, Fabian will try to make it his home. It will not be. He will lie and say it is anyway.
So he contorts these falsehoods and believes them to be truths instead: Fabian loves the ocean. Fabian loves ships. Fabian loves his father.
Even still, the last one in particular always trips him up. He wonders, some nights, if he’ll ever believe in that lie for certain.

Cathilda smiled at him, at the little kid she once helped take his first steps who was now almost fully grown. Of course he looked different now. Towering above her in height and with a face done up on make up that highlighted his one remaining eye. But he would always be that adorable child to her. "You look as lovely as the day we first met, Master Fabian."

His mama is somewhere off on a cruise with Gilear, while Fabian stands in a mansion with halls haunted by memories of his papa and the absence of life in the dark of the night.
He stops staring at the tank and begins to pace again.

So I came across a post for #leveragetober and didn’t really get why it was called that but it had a series of prompts and said that it was open for AO3 submissions as well. Not understanding what the prompt ‘S3 Spec’ could stand for, I looked up information to discover this is a challenge based upon a show called ‘Leverage,’ which I am not familiar with. But I got pumped to write something based on prompts for every day (or most days), so I’m rolling with it. It’s not about Leverage, but, you guessed it, Fantasy High, mainly fabriz. I took maybe half the prompts from that, mixed in some past Inktober ones plus a few others I found online and am running with it. Maybe some of these will be really cliche maybe they'll be bad, but fuck it, I’m writing!
(Also, on day 2, I decided to put everything in one work as opposed to individual works as I had started out, so 'Museum' and 'Confession' each have their own works but have been included in here for posterity.)
Also-Also, each daily entry should be treated as a stand-alone entry unless explicitly stated that one is related to another~
