Summary
When word finally reached Batman and his menagerie of Batlings of strange rumors about ‘ghosts’ of all things in a sleepy little town called Amity Park, Duke signed on with no further questions. Little did he know his travels to the small town in Illinois would reveal not just the answers he was seeking, but also reconciliation through new found family.
He just had to make sure he and Damian kept the kid alive long enough to escape.

And that’s the moment when it ends, he thinks. His replacement lying on the floor before him, hands around her broken ribs, tears and blood streaming down her face. Pathetic.
“Please, don’t kill me,” she begs in a broken voice, little sobs escaping with the words. “I didn’t even want to be Robin! I only did it because… Damian… would’ve wanted me to!”
That’s when his finger grows cold on the gun trigger.

The Joker doesn’t kill Jason Todd, because Batman arrives before the bomb goes off. So, as some sort of twisted joke, Damian is killed instead. But the al Ghuls never truly stay dead. And so does Robin.

Summary
Damian’s father always told him that what his mother did to him was horrible. That she was cruel and unloving, only using him as her own weapon and manipulating him like a puppet on strings. But in the end, it’s not his father who embraces him with shaking hands and tears in his eyes as he rises from his own grave, world flashing neon green before his eyes with madness. It’s not his father who sees him thrashing and kicking, willing to kill everything that comes near him, and still holds him close. And it’s infuriating.

BATFAMILY AGE REVERSE AU
Damian hadn't anticipated being tasked with looking after the Batfamily's newest member, a small boy named Richard Grayson. Ideally titled "Robin", when patrolling the streets of Gotham. Damian knew it was a horrid idea. Before turning and joining the Teen Titans, Jason had been violently removed from his duty as Batman's sidekick. But what makes an eight-year-old youngster a hero?Wasn't the trauma of two parents who had died enough? Why should he be cursed to view the dark side of the night?
Damian was well aware that he shouldn't protest any more than he already had. With an Arkham bust, tonight's patrol had already been long and bloody. Because of the culprits' escape, a lot of people had already been injured because of a guard who had accidentally left a plant near Poison Ivy. Why did he even have a fucking plant?

Summary
“Tt,” is the only sound that comes from Damian, and it’s the third oxymoron so far. It’s simultaneously amused and disapproving, and that’s when Duke thinks he knows the problem.
Damian has a shadow cast over him, a long and dark one he can’t seem to shake.
Well, that’s fine. Duke has always clung to the light better than the shadows, he’ll just be Damian’s light as well as Batman’s.
