“Y’think? C’mon Charlie, this isn’t so bad.”
Alan paused, his head giving the slightest tilt.
“Yes, I… hold on — Charlie?”
By the time he’d processed it Dave was already pulling the curtains open, letting the late afternoon sun spill into their bedroom. For as shit as the room was, the view wasn’t so bad.
