Canon up to 12x15 - Crowley has effectively bound and broken the Devil. Bored, he gives him to the one other person on Earth who hates the Devil as much as he does - Sam Winchester.
Sam wants to hate Lucifer, but this broken thing in the dungeon is nothing like the Lucifer he remembers. And as more details come to light, the hunter finds himself re-evaluating everything he's ever known about the fallen archangel.
This work is on indefinite hiatus but I did post summaries in the last chapter for the rest of what I had planned.

“Didn't think he'd just wing off, did you?”
Dean jerks around at the voice. He's jumpy enough as it is, hearing the monsters closing in on fresh meat, circling him for a snack, and Cas is gone. Cas is gone and Lucifer is here and what the hell he's got nothing to deal with any of this. He freezes.
“My brother really doesn't like conflict, Dean,” Lucifer continues, sighing and staring up towards the starless sky. “He'll be back in due time, likely when he deems it safe, or has that overwhelming need to protect you that he often has.” His gaze flicks back to Dean. “But I think we'll be alright without him.”
“You're in Hell,” Dean blurts, unable to hide his panic.
“Was in Hell,” Lucifer corrects. “Then I was riding around in your brother's psyche, and then in my brother's psyche, and now it seems I'm here, free of any anchor.” Lucifer rolls his shoulders in a small, half shrug. “Not as planned, but it works, I suppose.”

Not my usual cup of tea but oh my goodness I'm glad I gave it a shot. This was a surpriseing read that kept my attention for the whole ride and had a really good slow burn. Definitely due for a reread.

Summary

The decisions she makes will impact not only herself but Lucifer's son Jack. All Maggie wants is to find some neutral ground where everyone can get along amicably... but with the threat of Apocalypse World Michael lurking close by, that doesn't seem likely.

Alternate canon Season 1. Not “fixing” anything – just me having my whumpy fun ;) DECKERSTAR EPILOGUE IS NOW UP!
What if Lucifer "provoked" Amenadiel into giving him a far harsher beating after he'd burned his wings on the beach in s1x7? Instead of pursuing the Palmetto case, Chloe finds Lucifer, bleeding and hurt, and turns her energies to hunting down his violent brother. Amenadiel, meanwhile, has missed his chance to save Malcolm’s life and is discovering his actions might have consequences. His powers are fading, though that has to be Lucifer's fault, right? After all, Lucifer's mortality glitch seems to be getting worse too.
Lucifer wants to deal with Amenadiel his own way—getting the increasingly mortal angel out of his life for good. The brothers head off on a road-trip, begrudgingly bonding as they confront their issues, and with Chloe in pursuit. But, far more dangerously, the Palmetto Street demons Chloe has put on a backburner are now hot in pursuit of her…

Marcus Pierce has a plan – steal Lucifer’s angel powers in a dastardly ritual, kill the devil, and then get Chloe Decker to fall in love with him instead of Lucifer. Then Marcus can become vulnerable and die, right?
But Pierce fails to predict his reluctance to kill Lucifer in cold blood, especially when the ritual results in Lucifer losing his memory. Instead, Pierce takes Lucifer home and convinces him they’re married, and his attempt to woo Chloe goes equally awry. Chloe, meanwhile, is too good a detective to quit looking for the partner she cares deeply for, especially when she’s got a hunch that something is very wrong…
Basically, a canon-divergent version of Pierce’s “get Decker to love me so I can die” plan in Series 3, set after S3E13 (the undercover marriage ep.). Deckerstar compliant, with the Lucifer/Chloe relationship pretty much as it is in the show. Lucifer/Chloe is the emotional heart, although the bulk of the action and sex (and whump) is Lucifer/Pierce. Deckerstar hurt/comfort comes to the fore toward the end with a brief, equally h/c cameo from Amenadiel.

Lucifer needs to find a new wife, and fast.
When Lilith left Lucifer, Heaven demanded that he would find a new wife, fearing that he would rebel without his other half to keep him in check. Stripping him of his power, they sent Lucifer into the real world, where he would be given a month to find and fall in love with his new companion. Lucifer ends up in New Orleans, where he starts to court Mimzy.
However, something just feels off. He just can’t put his finger on it…

All Alastor wanted was to open a radio studio, help his Maman, and make sure that his friend Mimzy’s new boyfriend was a decent guy.
He didn’t expect to lose his soul, get stuck in literal Hell, and get sent on a wild goose chase, all with said boyfriend, but hey, at least it made for a good story to tell his Maman when he got back.
If he ever got back…

It's a shame that binding Grace gives Angels more Human traits.
Lucifer the Archangel could deal with the trauma of the Cage with no problem.Lucifer the Bound is having more trouble.
Or: Lucifer is experiencing more human emotions and can't help the nightmares and general hysteria of broken wings, Amara's torture, and the darkness of his Cage.
