He'd just been stupid enough to wander far from it, still not quite used to being able to go where he pleased, to follow the water where it would take him. That was all he'd wanted - a life that was his own, no matter how simple. How mad that it had led to this. He tried to imagine the grass, green and shining with dew.

Soliel never believed in fate or destiny. He grew up believing that all things made choices that build the paths in their lives, not that there was a road already paved for them. At least, that's what he thought when he came to Skyrim. Civil war is an ample cause for mercenary work and odd jobs. Plenty of opportunities that would allow him to put his unique skills in swordplay and magic to good use. This all changed though when the first dragon was seen. Everyone thought they were dead for centuries, and now they have returned across a land already rife with danger. Finding himself in the middle of it all, Soliel tries to find a way to navigate and survive, only to find himself wrapped more and more into everything as it unfolds before him. This isn't what he wanted, nor does it make any sense, but at the end of the day, all he can do, is try.

Who lost everything after getting caught between an Imperial ambush on Ulfric Stormcloak and, now, found himself being forced to be an adventurer in order to make ends meet. Out of shape, perverted, and without any heroic characteristics whatsoever (unless there's money to be gained or fellow Argonians in danger), except for a bit of common sense, he tries to make the best of his situation to try and climb back to the top - while struggling to remain true to his original views in lieu of the lessons reality teach him. As told both from his point of view, as well as those of the people whose lives had lasting changes thanks to his deeds.

Hrefna has a crush on her mentor/guardian, Sondas. But Sondas likes Miss Miranja and might even want to marry her. She's read fairy tales and overheard older girls talking when she's visited Windhelm with Mama, so she knows a little about this thing called sex, but Mama is uncomfortable explaining sex, so she doesn't know all the details. She only knows that her body has started to change, her menses will begin soon, and she'll be a woman able to make a baby. But she also feels new and pleasant sensations when she thinks about romantic things, which Mama won't talk about.
She tells Sondas via a picture she paints that she has a crush on him, and he gently acknowledges it but nudges her in the right direction. He mentions the crush to Miranja when they meet downriver at midnight and suggests Miranja ask Tormir if she can fill Hrefna in on the details Tormir is uncomfortable with. Before Miranja can do that, Hrefna spies on their meeting and Talvas (who was also spying with invisibility potions, naughty boy) informs Miranja that he saw Hrefna there. With Tormir's permission, Miranja has an open and honest conversation with Hrefna about what she saw, and answers her questions about sex from her perspective.
