Lovisa Koskinen is expected to be nothing short of perfection. While denied a formal graduation and the title of "Swordmaster" from the Ginaz School, Lovisa was the among the top of her class and was regarded as such when adopted into House Harkonnen at the ripe age of seventeen. Members of House Ginaz followed the traditional societal order in which men trained to be warriors and women their concubines; however, Lovisa was enrolled into the academy under the male alias "Levi" by the man who raised her after Lovisa’s parents exchanged her for hallucinogens.
After Lovisa's true identity was publicly outed, she was banished from the school and dished off to the prison planet after being declared guilty of an imperial crime. Believing all hope was lost, she received an unexpected visit from none other than a representative of House Harkonnen. They informed Lovisa that Harkonnen found value in her abilities as a swordsman and her potential to be a spy, as she had spent most of her life portraying one.
So, she is assigned the task of staking out Arrakis while awaiting Atreides' arrival, where she runs into an old friend and realizes that the Atreides family may not be as corrupt as Harkonnen makes them out to be.

When Paul Atreides was younger, he used to have this recurring nightmare where he was hunted by a beast. The woods were dark and he could not see it properly, but it could definitely see him. It was hungry. It never mattered how many different ways he tried to scape it, change the dreams. In the end, it would always catch him. He can visibly remember the weight on top of him, the warmth of it's breath against his neck. He would always wake up before it could rip him apart.
Until one day he didn't. He could only watch helplessly as it closed it's maw, teeth sinking on his flesh. And it felt good.

“Are you ready to behave, my darling?” He asked with a black smile. I tried to conceal how vulnerable I felt as he towered over me. I wanted to tell him that I was not his darling. “Return me to the sand and I’ll tell you, Feyd-Rautha.” I snapped as if I were in any position to bargain.
“How about you tell me, and I won’t carve your eyes out of your head.” He threatened, taking a few paces towards me, but not unsheathing his knife quite yet. “No threat will break me.” I snarled with the ferocity of a true Fremen. “Will pain break you?”
His perverse delight was evident by the flickering madness I saw his eyes. “If you behave, I won’t hurt you.” He said, eerily calm and impeccably collected. There was a regality about him, even if he was a monster. “Much.”
