50 years have passed and no one knows where the Avatar is. War is raging between the four nations as the Fire Nation slowly invades and conquers more and more territory. All hope seems lost until a couple witness a breach between the spiritual world and the physical world, revealing a little baby boy.
Keith grows up like a normal citizen in the Fire Nation, not knowing anything about his ancestry or the 30 years spent in the spirit world. He then realizes he’s the missing Avatar and is thrown out in a chaotic adventure with a gang of ragtags, where he on the way finds love in the most unexpected places and gets reunited with long lost loved ones.
The bridge between the two worlds is falling apart, threatening to leave the human world in chaos and destruction. But what - or who - is able to close the breaches for good and stabilize the bridge between worlds, and at what cost?

Summary
Lance was selected to be the wife of Crown Prince Keith in order to solidify peace between the Fire Nation and the North and South Water Tribes. Even though she was in love with her husband upon first sight, she believed he didn't feel the same. Ironically, Keith was in love with his wife, but he was terrible at expressing it out of fear of embarrassing himself and the guilt of stealing her from her home and loved ones.
They kept their distance for two years until Adam (a royal minister) and Shiro (Keith's half-brother and 2nd in line for the throne) had enough and became a pair of rather fed up and frustrated wingmen for the young prince. Through Adam and Shiro's words, Keith asks Lance out to the Dragon's Fire festival for their very first date.

Summary
As the Avatar Keith has the responsibility to protect the world. In past lives, this meant helping people with their problems. For him, it means learning all elements as quickly as possible to stop the Fire Nation from taking over the world. There aren't many places left where people can live in peace but he is determined to do anything to protect the Northern Water Tribe from meeting the same fate as the captured cities.
Learning waterbending proves to be the most difficult of the four elements and Keith struggles to achieve even the smallest improvements. He would have continued to struggle if it weren't for a white-haired boy called Lance who declared himself his unofficial teacher and helped him figure things out.
The longer they stay at the north pole and the more time he spends with Lance, the more Keith realizes that he feels drawn to him in a way he has never experienced before. But the attack of the Fire Nation looms above them and he isn't sure he'll be able to protect the city even as the Avatar. -
