Follow Berach, and his comrades, as they encounter the heroes and villains of Alrest, and become a threat that can rival them all....though perhaps an old friend can settle his wrathful soul before he goes down a path he cannot escape from.

The first time you see him, you make a wish.
That’s what people are supposed to do with shooting stars after all. This one is especially quick, bolting through the heavens twice as fast as the handful of other meteorites falling tonight. The sky is clear and encrusted with stars as a perfect backdrop to the meteor shower. You’re laying down on a cool wooden table out on the fields of a park, the best place around for a good view, and your breath billows above your face.
In a moment of whimsy you raise your arm and follow the quick one across the sky with a finger. It’s a good ten seconds before it blossoms brightly and fades. Maybe by singling it out, you made sure your wish reached it before it disappeared. Maybe it will reappear to kindly grant it someday.
It might be one in the morning and you may be a little loopy, but that isn’t the point here.
Ah, what’s the harm in it. Why not wish?—
After a car crash and an amputation, you're lonely and lost, until you find an alien robot named Minimus who seems just as lost as you are. With a little luck, he might be your wish come true.

Optimus couldn’t help but sigh. No matter how many stellar cycles passed, Sentinel was still the same immature bot he always was, and no matter how many stellar cycles passed, Optimus was still helm-over-stabilizing-servos for him like he’d been since their academy days... Not that Sentinel ever knew that, for he hadn’t gotten the chance to confess before Elita’s accident happened. It had just been one of those deep, dark secrets that remained in the back of his processor most of the time.
But, when Sentinel got like this, he couldn’t help how his feelings bubbled up in his chest and spilled out through his tone as he raised his voice; so many things left unsaid that were threatening to resurface, and it always scared him just how much of his self-control he allowed himself to lose when Sentinel was involved.
Then again, he seemed to lose everything that was important to him when Sentinel Prime was involved.
