After getting separated from her own family when the nightmarish creatures came to Earth, Y/N made it her mission to try and save as many people as she could. When finding a safe haven of her own, she couldn't help but look for other survivors. While doing her daily rounds, she comes across a badly injured man named Lee on the brink of death and decides to take him under her wing. After reuniting him and his family, she goes back to trying to find more people to do the same with. What she didn't know is that she would unexpectedly find a family of her own, maybe not by blood, but by bond. Now, she'll do whatever it takes to protect them, even if that means fighting ugly ass plant looking head shaped musty little bitch ass monsters.
I started making this in my head after the first quiet place came out because I hated how Lee's fate went, then I watched the second one in theaters and fell in love with Emmett so I'm writing this!
There is going to be an age gap with the reader and Emmett, but not too bad, so if that makes you uncomfortable you have been warned. I don't know his age in the movie so we'll say he's like 35 and the reader is like 23 so it won't be too big of a difference. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
