Whatever has happened, it has spread through the entire Satellite. An explosion of life, something that all natural law would state was impossible. She takes everything in with the curiosity of a scientist, the wonder of finding something unknown and beginning to start to understand its depths, as she moves further inward.
The sounds of waves, running water, have only grown in strength. It is a smooth, rippling sound—a part of Margaret feels her very soul start to relax at it. It feels good, relieving. She has always found comfort in the sounds of water—not as much as her Moon, but it eases her all the same. She slips through the jungle, trying to find its source, brushing past a fern…
There.
Her eyes fall upon a lake. It is clearest blue, shimmering and lapping at the shores. And a pale fog lingers just over its surface, swirling and ebbing, where—

There are people by that bank. A man and a woman, sitting beside each other.

Margaret's eyes widened. "What? You've never seen snow?"
Sia shook her head. "Not once. It never got cold enough where I used to live, not with such a high concentration of firestone keeping everywhere warm. And I've just managed to be away every time it's snowed here."
Margaret took her wife back to the bed and set her down, before curling up beside her. "Well, we mustn't waste another moment, then! Why don't you get your coat and we'll go outside?"
