This is my what if universe of That '70s Show. Like what if Jackie and Hyde were dating in season one of That '70s Show, what if Eric was a girl named Erica Forman and Donna was a boy named Donnie Pinciotti, what if Jackie had friends outside of the basement gang, what if Kelso and Fez got girlfriends, and what if Buddy Morgan became a permanent cast member of That '70s Show?
Erica Forman stared at her years-long best friend blankly; Hyde stared back, expression just as blank, but with amused eyes. Kelso hovered behind Hyde, staring determinedly at Erica, mouth hanging open in that goofy way of his.
Donnie sat in the lawn chair beside the couch, leaning forward, mouth twitching in an effort to keep from going into hysterical laughs.
"Erica, it is time," Hyde said dramatically, the amusement in his eyes intensifying.
"Why don't you do it?" Erica questioned immediately after Hyde spoke, the blank look in her eyes shifting to worry.
"It's your house," Hyde fired back calmly, folding his hands.
"Your house," Kelso echoed just as Hyde finished, shaking his head dramatically.

Summer, 1986 Milwaukee
When Donna comes back into his life, Eric doesn’t know what to do. He had been struggling to find his way as a twenty-something for years, working as a co-owner at the bar Hyde had inherited from a distant uncle in downtown Milwaukee. He started school at UW-Milwaukee. He thought things were getting better, only for his life to crumble when his high school girlfriend returns after nearly a decade of no contact.
Then he learns she’s staying in his life for a while, and that she’s been struggling, too.
AKA Cheers au where Eric was never able to get Donna in California and now they work together at a bar. Each chapter will be inspired by an episode from the first season of Cheers.
