A world you gave to bug and beast as they had never dreamed.” —From Elegy for Hallownest by Monomon the Teacher.Ghost was tired. Tired from running away from that wretched place. The place where their siblings were tossed into the Abyss for not being ‘pure’.
The truth is, not a single one of them were ‘pure’, as they all had minds and wills.
But the Pale King wanted a vessel that had ‘No voice to cry suffering’.
And so, Ghost left Hallownest after falling. Their twin, a vessel with horns that ended at a point, had watched as they struggled to keep their grip on the cold metal of the overhang.
Ghost supposed that if their twin had helped them up, they would’ve been killed by the bug that they both called father.
Outside of Hallownest, Ghost sat on a bench, pulled out a ragged quill and beat-up journal, and began to write.

A seemingly aimless wanderer passes through a lamppost, the obscuring fog and blowing wind drifts behind the wanderer. It walk before the edge of a cliff, off in the distance was the dimly fog that shows presence of civilization. It matters little to whom called the wanderer; all that matters is the call itself.
Its task, its commands are to be fulfilled. The vessel leaps off the edge into the depths of this place. The shook as it lands. The vessel walks straight towards, breaking through the old doors of a cramped tunnel. Small bugs and flying scavengers that dared to impede the vessels path were immediately dealt with by a simple stab through the shell. The old and cracked nail was smeared with trickle of blood. From the whispering words of carved stone; the wanderer can mend their shell with soul.
It made its way up then down, found a little trinket from an old chest. The vessel made its way back up, another large stone. Carved on it was the name of the place; Hallownest.
A large stone door with a carved sigil. The vessel strikes the large stone door; after multiple swings, it crumbles to pieces. The vessel sees a town; it leaps off the edge, descends and head down the well.

But be warry a traveler who sets foot there, as with riches, mysteries, and legends of the devastated kingdom to you might come its traps, tragedies, and horrors.
A new adventure beckons, but first, Bugaria has to greet some new guests.

This all takes place at the end of the game, and the major changes that aren't for the story are the following:
At the end of The Radiance fight, as Hornet sees the knight fall all the way down to where the other vessels are, she realises the weight of what the Knight has seen and done. She basically saves the knight, telling him a hero need someone to tell his stories. As they go through each area, they recollect on each part of their adventure, Hornet doing all the talking while the Knight nods. All the while, Myla is taken by surprise. It's a good thing the Knight and Hornet arrive just in time. -
