He couldn't believe what he heard. What Oswald said. They were enemies, and when he saw Oswald at the door, hearing such absurdity, he didn't want to hear about it and wanted to call Oswald a maniac and maybe even help him with his health, but no… Oz wasn't lying.
After several weeks and Oswald's actions, Bruce thought it was some sick game that Vicki Vale had come up with, but it was partly true.

Takes place immediately after his meeting with Falcone, in which Bruce, upset by the fact that Alfred had supposedly lied to him all his life about his parents, decides to do something completely reckless out of both spite and a need to lose complete and utter control. Penguin is more than happy to assist him in this endeavor.
