Oh, important note. This a continuation story. It is part of a timeline that begins with Ponyboy's first year after the events of The Outsiders and dealing with grief, Of Garnets and Switchblades. It's all falling apart, which is where Darry gets into trouble, and Trophy where the character Wyatt is introduced. The stories go in that order, so that by this point, Pony is a senior in highschool. The previous stories include important story points that continue in this story, like Pony working at the Stables with Soda, getting his paper on the road to being published, how he meets Rosa and other things. Just so it doesn't seem too disjointed, it's all one story.
