Prewarning, stancy at the beginning (sorry)A rewrite of the entirety of stranger things in which Eddie plays a bigger roll, especially in Steve’s life. The two have an unspoken agreement, they go to each other when something is up, knowing neither one will ask the questions that cannot be answered. Until those questions suddenly have to be answered.
“To what do I owe this pleasure, my liege.” His voice drops a semi-tone at the last two words, my stomach tightening as I look away from him.
“Thought you’d be lost without me.” Slips out of my mouth before I can think any better, but he just laughs and gestures towards his trailer.
“Uncle Wayne might be asleep so.. “ He trails off, dragging a ringed finger over his lips and sticking his other hand in his pocket to feel for something.
“I can come back at a better time?” I mutter hoping he disagrees with me
“No, no, man, just wait here, I know a spot, just gotta grab supplies.” And just like that, poof, he’s disappearing into the trailer. -

It's January 9th, 1988. Everything from November 1987 feels like a nightmare the group want to forget.
Eleven came back. They found her - alive. She wanted to be found, when she was sure it was safe.
Another thing to note, Mike and Eleven broke up in the late winter of 1986, a small while before the Hopper-Byers came back to Hawkins and the Byers moved in with the Wheelers.
Robin is pestering Will, telling him to not over-procrastinate and just ask Mike out, trying to convince him Mike isn't his Tammy. Will is reluctant, disagreeing with her and thinking Mike's still upset at him after a violent fight they had and maybe his actions came from a phase of denial after him and El ended things. He wants to talk to Mike about it, to try console him and get on better terms - because he's never had a fight with Mike like this before and doesn't want to lose him completely - but he's scared he'll get lapsed into a situation where Mike doesn't listen and just gives him the silent treatment, or worse, end their friendship. Robin still thinks he's wrong, despite the fight and their lack of communication and Will's awkwardness from the tower in 1987.
Especially because she knows something about Mike nobody else does. -

She makes friends and enemies along the way and make reunion with patrons of The Lab that she longed thought was dead. Will she come through or will that light in her die along with the town?
This is written in a way to help me when i needed to remember how i wanted ti to be different. So its not written for publish like a real book. just needed to get my thoughts on paper. Hope yall enjoy if you choose to read.

Mike’s hand stills as he reaches for his jacket, his eyes snapping up to meet Will’s. Will’s eyes soften while holding his gaze, before gently nodding in encouragement. Mike’s lips part into a gentle smile before grabbing his jacket and standing fully to follow Will out of the diner.

Following the iconic events of Season 4 Episode 4: Dear Billy. Wanted to flesh out some of Max's POV from Episode 5-9 of Season 4. Also includes minor POV from other characters as well. I may also include some flashbacks to incorporate the California crew to Max's narrative. The title is still a WIP!
Exploring Max's dynamic with the Hawkins crew as they traverse and uncover Vecna's schemes while trying to save Max from him before she meets her ultimate end at his hands in the finale.
After watching Season 5, a few months back, I yearned for Max interactions with the others since she was stuck in Camazotz the whole season. I wanted to explore more of her angst and maybe some fluff as well! So, I settled with the Season 4 plot wherein she narrowly escaped the clutches of Vecna. -

“We’re in my basement?” Mike asked, watching Max as she surveyed the room with his arms crossed.
“It’s not… right though. Are we still in Henry’s mind?” she asked, turning back to Mike who was looking at her like she grew a second head. That concern was still shining in his eyes.
“Henry?” he asked quietly. “Max, he’s been dead for over a year.”
That gave Max a pause, because what the actual fuck was Mike on? Did he stumble into Jonathan’s old weed collection?
“What?” she asked, her hand stilled on the doorknob as she turned back to face Mike. “He’s not dead. We never even got the chance to try to kill him.”
Mike let out a stiff laugh in disbelief.
“Never had a chance to try? I watched Mrs. Byers chop his head from his body with an axe. Seems pretty fucking dead to me.”
This time it was Max looking at Mike like he had grown a second, third and fourth head. She narrowed her eyes, her mouth hanging agape for a moment before realization crashed into her.—---
