It has been 25 years since 1986. Vecna never killed Max, or Chrissy. Eddie never died. Even Billy never died the year before. Vecna never showed back up, and they all moved on and had families.
Mike and Eleven(Jane) got married and had four kids, their two daughters have Eleven's powers. The two boys don't, but they wish they did. Steve got his dream, him and Nancy got married and had six kids, three girls and three boys. Holly grew up and met a guy, and got married and had a little boy. Johnathan finally moved on and met a women, he had a one nightstand. Then found out he was a father, they are married now.
Lucas and Max got married and had two kids. Erica found the perfect match, and had two kids as well. Billy found a women and got married, and have two kids. Dustin and Susie got married, after Susie moved to Hawkins. Then they had one kid. Eddie and Chrissy had gotten together, she opened up and said that Jason wasn't a good guy. They had two kids.
Now to Will, he has two kids that are twins. I guess you will have to read to find out the mother to his kids. He has a husband, well soon to be ex-husband. Robin never got married, but have had a few girlfriends. She is currently single.

that's what Eddie had in mind at least,
some team bonding, and a little extra time with Steve as he walked the older crew through DnD for the first time.
What he didn't expect was for there to be lives at stake (possibly) again over a game, and what he didn't expect was to somehow find himself DM'ing not only characters in a roleplay but somehow holding the power in his hands of multiple lives that not only depended on his writing skills, but also on how well his Hellfire could roll the dice, and how often they were going to lose.
it all comes down to them, and once again he finds that they're rolling the dice like their lives depend on it.

Franklin and Suzette Sinclair knew that Chief Hopper was lying when he brought their son home and told them some story about a bear attack at the middle school. They knew this because Lucas was a terrible liar, and nodded a little too emphatically the entire time Chief Hopper was talking. It was also impossible to miss the government agents swarming all over the Wheeler front lawn that afternoon. Even after Hopper left, the light of their flashlights (looking for what, exactly?) bounced periodically through their living room window.
But even if they hadn’t known there was something more going on, there was still the fact that that night, after they finally got to bed, Lucas crawled into bed with them.
He hadn’t done this since he was three and terrified of thunderstorms, but even so, Frank and Suzette didn’t say anything--they just scooted over to make room between them. Suzette reached across Lucas’ body to take Frank’s hand, and the two stayed like that a long time, listening to their son’s breathing even out.Or: Lucas needs help processing after season 1.
