Summary

Stolas spends every day thinking about what fate could've befallen his first and only friend. Then, one day, at an underground auction, he sees that Blitzo is one of the items for sale.

As Stolas struggles to cope with his new situation and his old fears, the Goetia move to fill the power vacuum he left in their ranks, while he struggles if to tell Blitzø about his past trauma or just bury it deeper.
Meanwhile, Charlie Morningstar wants to promote her hotel in the media without going through the Vee's, so she turns to an old associate of her father to help, Hell's Problem Solver, who just happens to be Paimon's right hand man, Stolas’s uncle, Duke Asteroth, the Fixer.

Following the aftermath of Sinsmas, Stolas is left in the wake of every bad decision he had made up until that point, especially in the wake of how he hurt his daughter, and he had been waiting for a chance to make things right with her and to show her how much she means to him.
But when said chance arrives in the form of a military summons from Lucifer Morningstar for the Goetia to rescue Charlie Morningstar from Heaven, and the threat of his daughter being sent instead, there is nothing Stolas won't do to ensure that Octavia will not have to go in his place.
Now he needs to find the will to not only survive but live, for his daughter, for Blitz, and for everyone he has grown to call his family.
Meanwhile Octavia must grapple with complicated feelings of anger, confusion, and grief that came from her fallout with her father. But with the impending war against Heaven now in effect, Octavia will have to take control of her life sooner than later.
And Blitz is barely holding it together to help the man who has become the king of his heart and the girl who he loves like his own daughter even if she hates him.
Love doesn't conquer all but it's all they have left.

Upon hearing his voice, the imp groaned. “Stolas, I don’t have time for your shit right now. I’m taking my daughter to the doctor and I am NOT about to reschedule! It took me months just to get this one.” He spoke as he remembered the hours he spent calling the office, and almost ready to barge through the door to give the staff a piece of his mind
“I’m terribly sorry to interrupt what you’re doing, but I’m a bit tied up at the moment.”
Blitz was unsure of what he meant by that. “What, did somebody rob you or something?”
Stolas could be heard sighing on the other line. “No, I meant I’m literally tied up.”
The imp nearly choked on nothing as soon as he heard this. “Wait, what?!”

“Stolas! STOLAS!! Stolas! Fucking—use your powers! Do something! STOLAS!” Blitzo screamed, flailing against the chains as he disappeared down the hallway, terror and fury blending into raw desperation.
The courtroom shuddered as a blinding light tore through the chamber. A hush fell over every demon present, even Satan, whose immense presence usually demanded attention. With a snap of his cane, Lucifer appeared in a swirl of elegance and authority, manifesting six magnificent white wings tipped with red feathers that cast long shadows across the courtroom floor.
Every head turned, eyes widening in awe and terror. White skin, blond hair, black lips curling over sharp teeth, and yellow eyes with red, snake-like pupils scanned the room. His high-collared white suit gleamed under the fiery courtroom lights, the black bow tie immaculate, top hat adorned with a golden snake coiled around a red apple perched perfectly atop his head. A black cane with a matching apple rested casually in one hand, the other tucked neatly behind his back. Red cheeks and purple eyelids added an unsettling contrast to his pristine, intimidating appearance.
Lucifer’s voice cut through the silence, calm yet commanding. “What a mess.”
