A young demon prince was sitting on his throne, tapping one of his fingers impatiently on the armrest. He was waiting for another traveller to storm in and declare a pointless war to him once again. The game of this world is simple. Once a traveller had leveled up enough they could go for the ultimate end game, learning the demon prince’s name and asking for a favor. Just as the prince was thinking it had been rather quiet today, the heavy doors of the throne room opened, and a pest presented itself. “I came for you, my prince.” The man started, Len raising an eyebrow at the man as he wondered where he was going with this. Did he have a whole speech prepared? This was his third time coming here, he probably had everything he wanted to say very well planned out- “Just like you'll be doing once I'm done with you.” Before Len even knew it, his whole life as he knew it was turned upside down by just this one barbarian. Or was he actually pretending to be someone he's not?

Heaven, Hell and the mortal realm have always existed. Humans were born of free will, Heaven and Hell attempting to persuade their choices in life to prepare them to enter their respective kingdoms in death. Eventually a Great War broke out between angels and demons that threatened to rip all three realms apart. That was thousands of years ago, so long that the demons in Hell no longer have records of the finer points of waging war with Heaven. Peace between had been tentative at best since the war and eventually collapsed.
The angels began to exterminate the demons of Hell once a year. Every year the demons became more resentful. More determined to rise up. All they needed was an edge. It unexpectedly came one night when Overload Alastor witnessed a star crashing down. Imagine his utter delight to discover that for the first time in known history an Angel had fallen.
Oh this will be fun.
