Summary
The year is 2007. Maxwell is a young trans man who recently moved to a new area for his job. He works at a call center and doesn't have many friends in real life. He's desperate for connection (or attention) and turns to an online chat forum called “Clinger Corner” to find some friends. He talks with a user named “saint_unsightly” for a few days, but deletes the chats after the conversation starts to get…weird.
Several days after closing the chat, though, Maxwell starts to feel as if he's being watched, and strange things begin happening around his house. It's small at first—‘misplaced’ and missing items, dirty dishes in the sink, a sickly sweet phantom smell wherever he goes. Things take a turn for the worse after a mysterious stranger bumps into him in the city after a late night out at a bar. His fuse box short-circuits, cryptic messages appear on the mirror, and it looks like someone else has been sleeping in his bed.
Finally, he receives an email from an unknown sender. “Did you forget about me?”

It looks like empty streets, ready for the taking by rowdy boys with too much time on their hands. The end of the world looks like childhood, in the way there’s no boundaries, nothing to fear. The empty streets look infinite, waiting for long evenings and late mornings. Sprinklers waved their water in lazy arches, greeting them before falling onto freshly cut lawns. The spray hits the pavement with soft slaps, pooling into puddles before disappearing into the cracks of the sidewalk. The end of the world smells like dust and asphalt, like the air before a thunderstorm. The end of the world is beautiful, and that’s the worst part.

The Fan Fiction reimagines the Young Tribulation Force in a setting that mirrors the story line between books 1 and 11. Some story lines will be omitted and others added. My fan fiction features Judd as a pot-smoking prodigy who is a Tupac fan, Vicki who moves forward with her newfound faith with grace and conviction, Ryan as a competitive Pokemon Showdown player and anime fan, and Lionel who plays a role as a mediator within the group.
Fan fic would have the best Judd and Vicki ship (that is relatively chaste). Judd and Vicki have contrasting views on soteriology, which would fleshed out.
I titled my fan fiction "Left Behind: The Kids: Advanced" as a reference to "Pokemon: Advanced". This version is more philosophically and scientifically dense with more nuanced characters, hence it is more "advanced" that even readers of the adult series would find it challenging. Stepping into the batter's box with fan fic Judd on the mound is like facing prime Clayton Kershaw.
I love Left Behind: The Kids. I find it to be exponentially better than the adult series. The Dramatic Audio is amazing! Kids series has better characters than adult series.

Basically an AU where Tenenbaum and Suchong were at the New Years Party when Atlas's revolution began.
I've had this AU cooking in the back of my mind for a hot minute, it's honestly a dark fic that hits a lot on Tenenbaum reliving a mirrored event the only difference is that she isn't 16 anymore. Expect there to be time jumps between different points in Tenenbaum's life. Obviously taking a lot of inspiration for the games and Rapture book all while adding in some of my own head cannons.
