An exploration of Monarchshipping (Yami Yugi/Atem). Each chapter is a stand alone story, they can be read in any order, as they are not connected to each other. The chapters are as follows:
1) Searching {for seashells} - Merfolk AU. In order to find your fated mate, you must present them with the perfect shell.
2) Burning {sand} - A glass workshop leads to burning desires.
3) Depths {of the sea} - Slowly exploring the depths of another soul, the ocean of their hearts. A "what if" Yami was the vessel for the spirit of the pharaoh.
4) Salt {in the air} - Pirates AU. Captain Yami Kurogawa puts into port and visits his lover, who may not be happy to see him.
5) Pressure {underwater} - Atem is an ancient sea god that has been forgotten, except by a college student who's writing a thesis about him.

The world and Paris has been saved from Monarch by Ladybug, Cat Noir and Music Lady.
Monarch is defeated. They were able to get all the miraculous from Monarch, including the butterfly and peacock miraculous.
Happy ending right?
Wrong.
Because a price was paid when defeating Monarch and getting all the stolen Miraculous back, the death of Marinette and Adrien aka Ladybug and Cat Noir. Musa aka Music Lady took the role as Guardian of Miraculous to keep the miraculous safe and to honor Marinette legacy. Can't handle to bear the pain of losing Marinette and Adrien, Musa's father got a job offer in Japan so they have to move from Paris, France to Japan.
Musa saw this as opportunity to start a new life. A place where no one knows Ladybug, Cat Noir, Music Lady, Monarch or anything Miraculous related. A place where Musa can live a normal life as a normal teenage girl.
Unbeknownst to Musa, her life is gonna change once she encounters a boy name Yugi Muto and his millennium puzzle and has an adventure with him and the spirit of the Puzzle.

Post Darkside of Dimensions: Atem and Yugi are officially a couple and in courtship for possible marriage. Yugi is in the preliminary stages of his game development, which takes an interest to Kaiba Corp and to Seto Kaiba as he starts to develop a feeling towards Yugi. Atem has been made a fully ascended God. The Gods seek for him to take his place as leader of Aaru and become one of the Creator Gods of the universe.
