Based on the Danish fairy tale of the Lindworm King, this was meant as an expansion of that particular story, with my own take on the characters and a lot of pain for two royal bottoms in particular. The Seier household, along with Saxa and her and Magne's newborn child are invited to dinner at Jutulheim. Nothing like a snowstorm/power outage in Edda though to cause them to get stuck there overnight, all parties ultimately having to come face to face with some uncomfortable emotions.
Season 3 AU/re-write because I was banking on them following myth with Saxa having Magne's child (and now I'm also in heavy denial).

“Let him go!” Laurits pounded toward the water, the ham squishing grossly in his fist. His voice was weak as he panted, running flat out toward the shore. “Stop!”
His child thrashed in the water.
The man struggled with the equipment. Laurits could see Jörmungandr’s white form snapping back and forth, struggling for freedom.
He had lost everything. His father and his brother in the same gruesome moment. His new family. And any semblance of the idea that life was ok. That things could go on as normal. He couldn’t lose this.
Events in rural Norway have drawn the eyes of S.H.I.E.L.D. The world is still reeling from a decade of devastation wrought by alien wars, hydra, power-hungry sorcerers, androids, super soldiers, and terrorists — human or otherwise. Now, S.H.I.E.L.D is more determined than ever to bring powered individuals under their control.
Magne and Laurits don’t care about the global machinations and interventions of S.H.I.E.L.D. For once, they agree — the interfering agents should just pack up, leave Edda, and leave the fights of gods and giants to… well, the gods and giants, thanks.
But packing up and leaving has never been S.H.I.E.L.D protocol.

Not to think about the old lady at the market, surprise surprise! giving him cryptic advice that left him with more questions than answers. Seriously, you’d think it’d be easier to give a straight answer for once, but apparently Magne can’t have nice things...It was all carefree Fucking Around™. That is, until they found the kid. Then it was back to our regularly scheduled programming, the strange life."
Instead of getting blasted to calypso's island (sorry girl), percy ends up in the mythology epicenter of norway (he doesn't know that). He also happens to be stumbled upon by two of the Mythological Issues (also unbeknownst to either party). It's fine though. This is fine.
