He still couldn't believe it. THE Shane Hollander, with his stunning freckles and a weak backhand (Okay maybe it wasn't so bad now, but not like Ilya would ever admit that). His husband who always managed to get his stomach into knots with how effortlessly beautiful and perfect he looked. Shane would probably kill him for saying that, but what better way to die than by those slender, long, calloused hands and that breathtaking face he could look into that made the blood rush straight to his dick. “What is it? Shane, you are scaring me.”
“I– fuck– I think I ruined everything, and I’m so, so sorry,” Shane’s voice broke. The lump in his throat was nearly unbearable. “I, uh, I had to make a deal—”
“... A deal?”
Ilya gets into trouble off the ice and is set to be sent back to Russia. Shane is unable to bear the thought of losing Ilya so he goes to Commissioner Crowell to plead Ilya's case. Things come to light and Shane is forced to make a deal. He can save Ilya, so long as he agrees to never see him again outside of an official hockey capacity.
A test of love, trust, and just how far Shane and Ilya would go for each other.
