Summary

Ιούνιος 2008. Καινούργια υπόθεση έρχεται στο φως. Ασυνήθιστοι φόνοι, όπως και τα θύματά τους. Ντετέκτιβ και δημοσιογράφοι, όλοι νεκροί σε διάστημα δέκα ημερών, με τον δράστη να παραμένει άγνωστος. Ο νούμερο ένα ντετέκτιβ στον κόσμο καλείται να δώσει λύση στην υπόθεση που όσο προχωράει, γίνεται ολοένα και πιο αλλόκοτη. Δεν είναι μόνος του όμως. Στο πλευρό του έχει για συνεργάτες τις δύο έφηβες αδελφές, Μαρίνα και Ελένη, την πανέξυπνη πράκτορα Ναόμι Μισόρα, και τον αγαθούλη αστυνόμο Μόμοτα Μάτσουντα.
Στο μεταξύ όμως, ο καιρός αλλάζει με γοργούς ρυθμούς. Σύντομα, ο κόσμος θα ζει ανάμεσα στα δύο δίπολα. Πότε κρύο, πότε ζέστη. Πότε καύσωνας, πότε έντονες βροχές.
Ίσως όμως τα πράγματα να μην είναι τόσο απλά όσο νόμιζαν. Ίσως κάποιος, ή κάτι από το παρελθόν να αναδυθεί, περιμένοντας την κατάλληλη στιγμή να εμφανιστεί πια ως πρωταγωνιστής κι όχι ως κομπάρσος...

Summary
Things have changed since fourth grade. The guys don't hang out with him as much anymore, and Eric is tired of chasing after them. There's just a few months before middle school starts and he can't wait for a new start.
However, his calm and more or less predictable routine is disturbed when he finds Mr. Kitty murdered inside his own house.
Eric plans on finding and confronting the cruel perpetrator but he has not accounted for his most despicable opponent showing up after nearly two years of complete absence. Nor has he accounted for getting kidnapped.
