He’s sharing a condo. With House.
And as a man in his forties, employed as the head of the oncology department, James should easily be able to afford an apartment on his own.
Yet he lives with House, who is also a doctor and department head, respectively, and likely also gets paid the salary of a person leading a department. Meaning he could also comfortably live on his own.
Which would indicate that they chose to live together.
But there’s really no reason at all for James to live with another person, unless…
Unless he’s in a relationship with said person.
Or: James Wilson wakes up in the hospital, thinking he's happily married to Sam in the year 1990, only to learn that he is suffering from retrograde amnesia.
Turns out it's 2010, he's divorced thrice over and shares a condo with a man.
What follows is a sexuality crisis of epic proportions, Wilson trying to deal with sharing his space with House and coming to terms with the fact that maybe, just maybe, he's is in love with the obnoxious, grizzly man.
And then his memories return.
James Wilson is utterly fucked.

Summary
Lalo seems as unperturbed as ever, spidery shadows twitching on his cheeks, when his eyes move behind his closed lids.
He’s still just mouthing along to the lyrics, his whole profile illuminated by the sun, every pore, wrinkle and hair follicle made visible, an effect only exacerbated by the slight sheen of sweat on his skin.
Unwittingly, Nacho’s reminded of that documentary on deep-sea life Jo and Amber had running in the background yesterday while they were high out of their mind. Of the anglerfish dangling a light in front of unsuspecting fish. Look at me, it screams. Dig your teeth in, gorge yourself. But just when you think yourself safe, when you get too close – a snap of teeth and you’re over. Done for.
Nacho is that fish. Perhaps even stupider, considering he knows exactly what he’s facing.
(AU in which soulmates can only speak the truth to one another, and Nacho's already crappy situation takes a turn for the worse when he's confronted with a sudden inability to lie to Lalo.)

"Dead." Percy nodded. That seemed accurate. Poseidon rose his eyebrows. "Because I am dead." He added...In case that hadn't been clear. He looked down at his body - which felt very strange because he shouldn't have a body. "You have put me in a flesh prison." He observed. Poseidon opened his mouth as if to respond and then instead looked over at Hades.
"Look, brother," He said with a raise of his hands "I did my best."
There was a beat of silence in which Poseidon stood back up and ran a hand over his face.
"Well," He grimaced as he looked down at his son "I suppose it is time to answer his sister's prayers."
Or
Percy was murdered in the lamest of ways but luckily has the coolest sister ever to help him with the whole 'living' thing again (aka I still love Estelle Blofis).
