Summary
Harry Potter is being ignored by everyone who’s supposed to care, takes a fall off a ladder and wakes up in a hospital. With nowhere left to go and a deep mistrust of adult intervention, he escapes to London for a night where things, naturally, get worse. Summary

Harry finds solace in the unexpected care of an unjustly convicted man and an ex-death eater; meanwhile Black grapples with repressed attraction to the man he'd spent his childhood tormenting.

Summary
Even with the precautions he was taking, it was dangerous to keep going back to them as often as he did. More importantly, he couldn’t tell them about Dumbledore’s plan, he couldn’t share the burden with them. He would have to occlude and pretend that all was fine or they’d ask him questions and he’d have to lie.
