Grian breaks into a soft whisper, filled with fear, barely audible but he knows Scar can still hear it. "You know I'll never let them take you..." He looks back at Scar and is surprisingly met with a smile.
The loveliest smile that could ever come from any being. A smile that looks so sad and broken, it doesn't belong to a cheerful creature like them. Now all Grian wants to do is to kiss it away and make them feel all better.
“You…” Scar sighs deeply, calming themselves down before saying the words Grian would never thought he’d hear from them. Words he’d never want to hear again.
“You could kill me…”

Summary
Wemmbu dies during the Civil War protecting Parrot, giving his life to secure Parrot’s future as king.
Decades later, Parrot, Spoke, and Flame have ascended to godhood, while other legends of the war have become immortals and demigods. Peace has finally come to the Unstable SMP.
Yet despite years of searching, the gods never find Wemmbu’s reincarnation.
Because Eggchan found him first.
Wracked with guilt and desperate for redemption, Eggchan hides Wemmbu away from the world. Hidden beyond the sight of gods and mortals alike, Wemmbu grows up unaware of the destiny waiting for him and the people still searching for him.

Summary
Jaden knows his feelings for Wemmbu aren't going anywhere. There’s too much bloodied history and buried regrets between them, not to mention, ever since Egg is captured by Arachnid, Wemmbu’s attention has been solely to save his best friend. He has no room or care for anything else.
So, with the little time that he has left, Jaden will try his best to be someone Wemmbu can count on, despite the growing flowers in his lungs, chipping away his life one petal at a time.
