    In another time-line, James Buchanan Barnes a.k.a the Winter Soldier, took Steve Rogers out of the Potomac and left to find answers, to find himself, to try to be free. And after that Steve and his now right hand, and later on best friend, Sam Wilson started a long search to find him.

    Those events, aggravated by others, later ended in a battle between the Avengers. It became the reason why they weren't together the moment Thanos arrived on earth. And ultimately, it would be the reason why they lost the war.

    In this time-line though, confused and lost, realizing for the first time the reality of what happened around him and feeling the weight of what he did during all those years, the Winter Soldier took Steve out of the water, and stayed next to him. Trying and failing to remember. The only two things he knew for sure were that he knew this man and that he had done a lot of terrible things.

    “So, this belongs to you then” Cape man says, holding the unconscious naked toddler towards Tony.

    Tony blinks, “excuse me?”

    “The child. He’s Spider-man”.

    Tony retracts Ironman’s helmet, and his eyes go wide as he takes a longer look at the toddler, that is now looking very familiar, “that’s not…that’s not possible… What did you do to him?!”

    “It wasn’t me, he got in the way of spell that went wrong”.

    “He’s…he’s…that…he’s tiny” Tony’s mind comes to a screeching halt. His 16 year old son…is now a toddler.

    “I noticed” Cape man’s voice dripping with annoyance.

    “You turned my so-spiderman into a toddler!” Tony growls at him, and it not for his tiny son in the man’s arms, he’d repulser blast the bastard.

    More chapters will be added eventually - some may connect loosely while others may not connect at all. They can all be read individually, but what's the fun in that? ;)

    Summaries will be posted before each chapter!

    NOTE: there is no "1/?" chapters because I add on chapters when I have new material, so it will always appear as if it's complete. But I will state in the author's note of when there will be no more chapters!

    *Edit on 5/15/2019: so this work is officially complete! I feel like there's not much more I can add here and it's plenty of words for a decent read. I hope you enjoy(ed) this work :)
