Summary
He could feel the stares, sharp and prickling, like the blades of a hundred swords, following his every movement like vultures would an injured animal, waiting for their chance to strike and devour the corpse left behind. They judged, they looked, they whispered, and still, Hyunjin walked.
One foot in front of the other, chin up, gaze steady, the impeccable image of grace and femininity, moving with the practice that only a lifetime of learning etiquette, poise, gait and posture could grant, of putting on layers upon layers of lies so convincingly, so perfectly, so flawlessly, that not a single soul would question him, would know him for a fraud, for a filthy, pathetic pretender wearing pretty garments and precious jewels, deceit and humiliation in equal doses
In which Hyunjin, forced to live as a woman in high society, becomes the Queen’s diamond of the season, much to his dismay. Determined and desperate to escape marriage, he drives away every suitor, until an unshakable Duke arrives, chosen by the Queen herself, and Hyunjin’s carefully crafted world and walls begin to crumble.

Summary
Beomgyu has heard of a saying before.
The one that goes, “Never meet your idols.” Let them remain as pretty faces on a screen, as beings that seem so very untouchable, bathed in the glitz and glamour that comes with the celebrity life. Admire them from afar, always at a distance, because if you bridge that gap, the expectations you have built for years will shatter. Your world shifts on its axis, and nothing quite makes sense anymore.
What then, is one supposed to do, when a person becomes your idol after you meet them? Beomgyu wonders idly, as he gazes at a laughing Yeonjun from the opposite end of the practice room, if the universe has an answer for that.
Right from the beginning, Beomgyu is afflicted by the deeply idol condition that is otherwise known as falling for your bandmate. It being rite-of-passage, however, doesn’t make it any easier. This is the story of the learning curve he charts as he wrangles it.

Summary
He knows about trans people. People who identify differently than their assigned gender at birth, and honestly Yeonjun’s always been cool with that, he gets it. He understands; sometimes he hates being perceived as a man and all the gender roles that get forced on him and has wished he was a girl before, but he mostly just wants to be seen as a person, no gender thanks, no ‘man’ or ‘woman’. He’s not that.
But that doesn’t make him trans. Right? Yeah. It’s fine. He doesn’t need to worry about it.

Summary
With a tinge of humiliation, Hyunjin quickly scrambled back so abruptly that his lower back hit the arm of his seat. He would feel that, later. He wiped the drool away from his bottom lip self consciously and sniffled.
“I am so sorry,” he apologized frantically, but the man didn’t look too bothered. In fact, he only smiled nicely as he straightened up the T-shirt that Hyunjin rumpled by napping and drooling all over.
Great. If he managed to snap a picture and send it out to the internet, then Hyunjin would be done for. His manager would shun him forever.
Instead of replying with an ‘it’s okay’ or maybe even- ‘never sleep on my shoulder ever again, you freak.’ What left his mouth was- “you’re my soulmate.”Or
Everyone had a soulmate- the first words exchanged tattooed on their skin. Hwang Hyunjin just so happened to meet his on a plane ride to Milan fashion week.

Summary
Yeonjun realized this was exactly what he wanted.
He wanted to look frail.
He wanted to look like he would break if anybody made a wrong move around him. He wanted people to look at him with the same morbid fascination he felt when he looked at photos of emaciated people who had become wandering ghosts, trapped in a wasting shell.
Not quite in the other world, not quite in this one.
Merely floating weightlessly between both, with frost-covered hearts.
