In a land far, far away, nestled between towering mountains and verdant valleys, there lay a prosperous kingdom. Its ruler, a wise and just king, and his queen, renowned for her grace and kindness, had everything their hearts could desire, except one thing.Despite their riches and peaceful reign, they had long yearned for a child, one to inherit the throne and continue their legacy.
One evening, as the stars twinkled in the sky like diamonds, the king knelt by the castle chapel and made his wish known to the heavens."Grant us a child," he whispered."A child who will be loved and cherished, a beacon of hope for this kingdom."
And so, as if the stars themselves had heard his plea, the queen soon bore a son. On the morning of his birth, the sun shone brighter than it had ever done before, casting golden light over the kingdom. The entire kingdom rejoiced. The bells tolled, announcing the birth of the heir, Dream, the hope of their future.

Trying to hold onto his fight, Peter shoots back, “Yeah? And what’s that?”
“To have nothing, after being able to believe you could have everything.”
The streets are dirty, crowded, and the jagged bumps in the asphalt are hardly comfortable to sleep on. They’re home, though.
Peter is just about finished with New York City. It’s gotten impossibly harder to find even a scrap of food, and what little belongings he does have are unlikely to keep him alive through the winter. And the memories. God, the painful memories here.
So he saves up. Makes a plan to get out of there.
Then, somehow, he accidentally saves Tony fucking Stark from a gang of eight mercenaries, and the majestic plan disintegrates into ash.
The worst part about it, he knows, isn’t even that he met Tony. It’s that Tony met him.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Tommy lowers the stake slightly—he lets out a sad, wet chuckle. “Like I had a choice,” he says. “Nobody does.”

Kakashi palms a kunai, watching him warily. No one here seems like much of a threat, but there are way too many unknowns to take any chances. He lightens his tone when he speaks. "Ah, it seems I've gotten a bit lost. Mind telling me where we are?"
The soldier who'd initially shot fire at him raises a shaking hand, pointing at Kakashi. "I saw you. You bent both earth and air."
The crowd watches him with growing recognition. Murmurs turn to shouts, and to Kakashi's bemusement, a war cry starts echoing.
"The Avatar has returned!"
