“How drunk are you?” Flash asked, feeling his drinks hitting him. He hadn’t had a lot, but enough to make him slightly tipsy. Peter giggled, “Drunk? Me? I’m a model citizen!” His tone was too silly, definitely drunk.
“You really think I don’t like you?” Flash murmured, trying to ignore the hand still resting on his thigh, and how their knees kept bumping each other. Peter looked away, “Noooo, I like you, you don’t like me..”
Flash furrowed his eyebrows, “I like you.. You’re a good friend.” Peter rolled his eyes, “Yeah jus’ a friend,” pouting again.
Flash shook his head, no way. What was Parker saying right now?

"Flash’s brain short circuits. Because standing in front of him, dressed in nothing but a pair of red and blue running shorts, is Peter Parker. He’s all lean lines and hard edges. Broad shoulders and long legs. Heat crawls up Flash’s neck, blooming across his face as his eyes trail down Peter’s form, starting at the hollow of his throat and working its way down to where the waistband of the shorts meet warm, olive toned skin.
“Oh, hey Flash,” Peter says through a yawn.
Flash’s eyes snap back up, a mix of guilt and embarrassment burning in the pit of his stomach. But Peter doesn’t notice Flash’s not so subtle staring, the man in question blinking owlishly, rubbing sleep out of his eyes. He just stares at Peter’s arm as he does, each small movement causing his bicep to flex and relax.

The point is that Harry Osborn is famous, and Flash’s parents have been working at Oscorp since before Flash was in the picture, and they both end up at the ice cream shop not too far from their school at the same time. Flash is giving his order at the counter and isn’t even consciously aware of the fact that Harry is there, but he's in line behind him and appears to be leaning forward to ask a question to the worker that isn’t taking Flash’s order, and a picture is taken by some random customer who apparently recognizes the Mayor’s son. Flash just happens to be in frame, the angle just happens to make it look like they’re standing together, and the damage is done.
