Techno's eyes watch them.

Astrid and her are both looking to him now and his chest swells as bright smiles blossom across both of them. He knows neither of them would have pressed if he had denied, but the thought wasn't an option, wasn't a thought because it would have never happened. Astrid gives his arm a supportive squeeze and his mother continues to smile happily, relieved, towards him. The wrinkles around her eyes making him feel all the warmer as her grin stretches across her face.
He thinks he wants to be as in love with Astrid as his father was with his mother.
