The man extended his hand to Gi-hun before speaking. “Good evening, I’m Hwang In-ho, the math teacher.”
Gi-hun shook his hand. His handshake was firm, almost painful—not because the teacher intended it, but because of the surprise.
“Good evening.” He glanced at the door, hoping that his daughter might eventually show up but of course she didn’t. Gi-hun sighed in defeat, realizing he had to face the teacher alone. “I’m Seong Gi-hun.”
Hwang In-ho pressed his lips together and blinked slightly. “Ah.” He sat down and Gi-hun followed him. “Seong Ga-yeong’s father, I presume.” He said with a cold tone.
Gi-hun felt the chill settle in as he introduced himself as Ga-yeong’s father. Trying to break the ice, he forced a laugh. “Yup, that’s me, in the flesh!”
