"I don't see the point," Albedo stated. "Not only do I not like how much food we get there, you don't like being around your old friend." Kaeya smiles. Even while the rest of his face goes through a colorful variety of expressions, he keeps smiling. "I just want to go home and sleep," Albedo finishes.
"It's mid afternoon. Have you, eaten today, dear?" Kaeya asks. Albedo stares at him blankly, but Kaeya internally nods as his sage Albedo Wisdom identifies this particular blankness as 'no i have not, kaeya, but i drank dubious chemical goop earlier,' or something equivalent.
After a pause, "Sucrose brought me sweets earlier." He says this as if this makes it better. Then he changes from blank, to a different kind of blank expression. "Ah. Yesterday. I forgot to sleep." Kaeya's internal Albedo Wisdom nods sagely and then advises Kaeya to shove several bottles of his boyfriend's nutrition goop down his throat.

Kaeya drags Albedo to Angel's Share while he's tired one day and Diluc decides this is a good opportunity to warn Albedo about Kaeya's bad habit of keeping secrets. He doesn't expect the little prettyboy to be so aggressively defensive about it, and especially doesn't expect him to have a point.

Summary
Kris swears they have it the worst. Like, they're being puppeted around by some eldritch being, forcing them to do things they never wanted. Not to mention it keeps interfering with the plan. So what if it's always been nice, and treats their friends with love, and lets Kris do stuff they want, it's still controlling them! It must be so easy, not being the Cage.
What if they weren't the Cage anymore? That would solve everything, right?
But someone has to be the Cage.
