It all went downhill from there. Their heads whipped toward him, eyes piercing through his very soul. Somehow, even from a distance and over their own voices, they’d heard him.
And from the looks on their faces, they weren’t happy. The blonde one quickly said something to her friends and plunged into the water, speeding straight towards him.

It quickly becomes clear why their kinds clash, and Lumine wishes to never have the misfortune of meeting him again.

In 1997, Sunlight Sisters idol Mi-Yeong Ryu is juggling fame, demon hunting, and a meeting with someone impossibly strange. Choices made in the spotlight, and in the dark, that will echo into her daughter’s future.
Two timelines. One mystery. Because not all souls are lost forever.

holy shit. this is genuinely one of the most painful, beautiful, moving masterpieces i have ever had the privilege of encountering. it's everything i could have ever hoped for and more in terms of Rumi's parents' backstory, and good GRIEF the way it addresses Rumi's own tragic love and loss. 100000000000/10 i cannot recommend this enough

holy shit this is genuinely SO good. all the descriptions and interactions and emotions draw me in immediately, and i can't help but feel a mounting anxiety for what happens to them when the truth comes out about her being Jinu's mission - probably definitely after they've already realized they're the literal loves of each others' lives. 100/10 this writing is addictive

Summary
After the final battle, Rumi falls into an unusual rip in the Honmoon. Thinking it’s the end, she is shocked to awaken in the Demon world - and even more shocked to see that everybody lives.
Forced to tap into her demon nature more than she ever has done, Rumi must find her way out - and back - to her time and place. It’s just a little hard when the Saja boys are back and more powerful than ever, including a Jinu whom Rumi must remember knows nothing about her.
Rumi just doesn’t want to lose herself, then she’ll be fine. She just needs to find the sunlight sisters, right?
Well, not quite.
Or
Time travel AU where Rumi is sent back 25 years ago, and has to deal with a world quite different to the one she’s ever encountered.
