Summary
The second War for the Dawn is lost before it has even begun. With a little help from the Old Gods, Bran sends the last surviving Starks somewhere they can make a difference: back in time. “Ugh, mortal heroes,” Artemis wrinkled her nose in disgust. “Your mother mentioned you know how to handle them—is that correct?” Tim nodded. “Great. You will work with my lieutenant on the hunt; Thalia, please select fifteen hunters to accompany you. You and Alvin will work together as equals on the hunt, so I expect both of you to conduct yourselves accordingly.” Artemis left and Thalia slumped as soon as she was gone.
“Why do you hate me,” she grumbled as she put her head into her hands. “This would be a lot easier if there weren’t any superheroes.”
