Minho ran a hand over the dog- over Berry’s ear. “She just wanted to say hi,” he said, watching her through the new crack in his glasses. “Right?”
“Well, she should say it nicely,” the stranger said with a pout. Then, softening, “Again, I’m really sorry. She’s usually better at listening, just not used to the birds yet.” Guilt still shone in his eyes, eased with a smile. “Can I get your name, at least? I’m Chan.”
Minho ran another hand over Berry’s ear. The man’s words did explain why Minho hadn’t seen him before; yet implied newness, an intent to familiarize. Minho couldn’t help his intrigue. Strangely, he didn’t mind that it had come at the expense of a sore tailbone or fractured glasses.
He offered a small smile in response. “Minho.”

"Morning," Harvey said, shutting the door behind him. "Should I be concerned?"
Donna tilted her head slightly. "Depends."
Harvey followed her gaze—and immediately felt a sense of deep, existential dread.
His couch was gone.
In its place, directly across from his own desk, was another desk. And another chair.
For a long moment, Harvey just stared.
Then, very carefully, he asked, "Donna. Where the hell is my couch?"
"I was wondering the same thing," Donna said, still staring at the scene like it might suddenly make sense if she looked at it long enough.
Harvey blinked. Looked again, like maybe his brain just wasn’t processing reality correctly.
Nope. Still there.
An entire second desk.
In his office.

Harvey stood up straight and tried to muster his usual swagger, but it had the consistency of a soggy cracker. "Fine. You want the truth?"
She raised her hands. "Finally."
"I think I might be..." He trailed off and stared at the wall, as if hoping it would finish his sentence for him. When it didn’t, he made a vague circle motion with his hand. "You know."
Donna narrowed her eyes. "Do I know?"
"You know. Into... guys. A guy. One very specific guy. One very specific infuriating, too-smart-for-his-own-good, sleeps-like-a-dachshund guy."
