Reader is gender neutral. You could also see the reader as nonbinary/Agender or genderfluid. I be using any pronouns(really I will. I probably switch from she/her to he/him in literal the same chapter.).
And for the traveler they will not be named by name(Aether/Lumine). Only know as traveler. I will not Choice if the traveler is Lumine or Aether(but I probably would taken lumine if I had to choice). They will be called traveler by everyone (or any name they given example: honorary knight).

Summary
Scott is an ancient vampire, he has been around for a millennia, and he's got a few secrets from his past that he may or may not share to those around him, purposefully or not.
When he finds himself awake after being asleep for 600 years, he only plans on rebuilding his life, and castle, and perhaps even finding new friends and such. But when he finds another vampire, who has plans that include shedding the blood of those who reside in town, his plans change. Now he has to do his best to protect the town of Oakhurst while readjusting to society and his own powers. Though protecting Oakhurst will be difficult if nobody believes his intentions.
