The Trickster won a rigged game against all odds. And yet... The cost was far too much. The Phantom Thieves fell in the final battle against Yaldabaoth leaving Joker the only one remaining. He prevented Yaldabaoth from fusing reality and Mementos, the world was saved.
His friends, however, were gone.
In the end, given the choice to do it over again, but from the outside?

Of course, new problems arise.

Summary

Ren Amamiya had done many things. Most notably and recently being putting a bullet through yet another malevolent being's head. Fourth time's the charm, right? That's how the saying goes at least.
... So what's it called when you get thrown back in time to put a bullet through a malevolent being's head to stop it from killing two previous wildcards like himself?
Ren isn't entirely sure. What he IS sure of, is that these two Guests are remarkably attractive, and he's done playing the baby faced golden boy who can do no wrong.
Time to let Joker take the front seat. Nothing'll go bad then, right?

Summary
The Phantom Thieves won. Maruki's false reality was put to rest. The world was going to heal. No one but them would remember what happened, to everyone else, life carried on.
Akira Kurusu was going back home. Her time in Tokyo was over, and thus, she was going back home. Even if it felt like she was leaving the only place she'd truly called home. She'd get through it. Even with passing wonders of what her life might've been if Yaldabaoth had never taken over the Velvet Room, she was going to get through it. She'd be fine.
Sae Niijima is... healing. She's learning from her mistakes. Her years of doing everything wrong, and inevitably making Makoto's life worse are behind her. At least, she's trying to put them behind her. She wanted to be better, she really did.
One of them asks a question, the other is offered a deal.
And suddenly, it's 2009 and neither of them know what is going, why it's happening, where they are, or why Mitsuru Kirijo looks at Sae like that.
(or: after the events of Persona 5 Royal, Sae and Akira (and by extension, Morgana) are flung back to Gekkoukan High School in 2009 with no understanding of what, exactly, they're supposed to do with that)

After years of fending off baseless slander, civil and criminal lawsuits, corrupt government regulators, and investigations from the intelligence community, the Kirijo Group has finally cleared its name. Combined with the last of Masayoshi Shido's Antisocial Force being removed from their posts, and the Phantom Thieves undergoing a resurgence in popularity thanks to an increasingly popular YouTube series, Mitsuru believes there has never been a more opportune time to reform the Shadow Operatives.
But with the organization's former members, and their acquaintances from Inaba, scattered all over Japan with their own careers and lives and responsibilities, they can't all just fly to Iwatodai to meet in person at the drop of a hat, forcing Mitsuru to resort to a more asynchronous form of communications.

A flash of blood and a body leaning against a rooftop wall.
Shuichi rummages through his pockets for his cigarette pack, pulls a cigarette out, and lights it. He takes a deep but quiet puff.
“A good relationship doesn’t mean trust, Scotch,” he says, smoke drifting from his mouth.

Ren's "Not Phantom Thief related" group chat some how has a 100% chance for some dumb shit to happen in it. Within the first 2 days of the group being made, there's already something happening. So much has happened in his life within the past week: A castle in an alternate world, a floaty ghost man by the name of Arsène, Morgana the talking cat, Kamoshida and meeting his first new friends in Tokyo.
Out of all of them, he wouldn't give up his friends or family for anything. Even if most of them are complete dumbasses, they're his group of dumbasses.
This is a Persona 5 Chatfic following the "Totally capable Phantom Thieves" throughout the year, with dumbasses doing dumbass stuff when it isn't Serious O'Clock.
Whilst this does follow the main storyline of P5, I hope to curve and bend it a little bit and add some herbs and spices here and there. And sometimes snap canon over my thigh.
Not a Royal fic yet, contains some references to it. No Strikers spoilers please
