Summary
A canon divergence where Wei Wuxian didn’t die and instead closed the Burial Mounds to outsiders with a barrier. Lan Wangji was still punished with 33 lashes but disappeared soon after. Now, 13 years later, Nie Mingjue invites the Yiling Wei sect to the Discussion Conference and when they arrive the other Sects are surprised to see Lan Wangji standing beside Wei Wuxian and wearing the black and red robes of the Yiling Wei Sect, instead of his white Lan robes, his Lan forehead ribbon nowhere to be seen. How with the cultivation world handle this power couple and their children?

Summary

Hannibal had brushed his lips over the side of Will’s head, breathing him in like he wanted to store this memory even in scent. And Will knew he wanted this. Like he wanted for years but this time he wasn’t going to deny himself the want. The rotten, plaguing want that engulfed him for years. Even when he married Molly and things settled, his desire still burned bright beneath his ribs, where it was safest.
He steered them from the edge of the cliff where rough terrain met rampaging water, clashing and thrashing against rock, unknowing and uncaring of what just transpired between him and Hannibal, the change that lit in himself. They carried each other into the house, past the carnage they inflicted. Arms under shoulders, supporting. Huddled together because tearing from each other meant tearing apart your own flesh.
